BiographyHistory

Sumudu Samarawickrama was born in Sri Lanka, spent her early life in Zambia, and immigrated to Australia at age 11, where she was raised in Werribee, a suburb of Melbourne. She has been part of the Footscray Community Arts Centre's West Writers Group.

In 2019, Samarawickrama received a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship.
