History
'The Melaleuca Blue Life Writing Comnetition is in memory of writer, . actress and director Jo Peirce (Mary Rosaire O'Gorman) and her mother, the prolific storyteller, Bridget O'Gorman. The competition's categories include Best Overall Life Writing Piece (all genres), Best Humour, Best Religious Theme, Best Memoir 1970s and earlier, Best Memoir 1980s to now, Best Letter and Best Monologue. '
