BiographyHistory

Holden Sheppard was raised in Geraldton, Western Australia, and moved to Perth when he was eighteen. He won an ArtStart grant in 2015, and has published in Indigo jounral, page seventeen, Huffington Post and more. Holden has also worked at Edith Cowan University.

His young-adult novel about growing up gay in the regions, Invisible Boys, won both the 2018 T.A.G. Hungerford Award and the Kathleen Mitchell Award , and his novella, Poster Boy, was one of the winners of Griffith Review's 2018 novella competition.
