AIATSIS is a premier institution for information and research on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and peoples. They have an extensive collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language resources: print, audio-visual and digitised materials. AIATSIS also includes: AIATSIS Indigenous Language Select Bibliographies - PDF lists of materials held by AIATSIS relating to specific languages/language groups across Australia. South Australian Museum: Norman B. Tindale - website
Tindale was an anthropologist whose research resulted in the ‘Tindale Map’ which depicts the distribution of Aboriginal languages; Tindale also mapped out genealogical and sociological profiles for Aboriginal communities in Eastern Australia. Visit the website.

Yugambeh Museum & Language and Heritage Research Centre
The Yugambeh language people are the traditional custodians of the land located in south-east Queensland and north-east New South Wales, now within the Logan City, Gold Coast, Scenic Rim, and Tweed City regions whose ancestors all spoke one or more dialects of the Yugambeh Language.
The Yugambeh Museum, Language and Heritage Research Centre aims to record and promote the traditional knowledge of our region, especially the Yugambeh language which was spoken throughout South East Queensland.
