'Stéphane Cordier completed his PhD at the University of Sydney under the supervision of Professor Robert Dixon. His research topic is the representation of space in contemporary Australian literature with a focus on the works of Tim Winton, Nicolas Rothwell and Ross Gibson. He was formerly a lecturer at the University of Picardie, France and now works at the University of Wollongong.
