'Inspired by Tim Bowden’s bestselling biography

'Documentary footage and live performance paint a portrait of this frontline cameraman.

'The enduring legacy of Tasmania’s frontline cameraman Neil Davis will be showcased in One Crowded Hour – a dramatic unfolding of his life story.

'After a childhood in the peaceful town of Sorell, Davis embarked on a journey to the world’s most dangerous regions of unrest. From the battlefields of South East Asia he captured horrific images of warfare and for more than 20 years his footage was broadcast into homes around the world.

'This story of the combat cameraman features documentary footage, live performance and striking imagery wrapped in an atmospheric soundtrack.' (Production summary)
