History
Inaugurated in 2016, these biennial awards are presented at the Darwin International Film Festival and mark the best film, television, and video productions being created in the Northern Territory.
The 2020 awards were presented in 2021, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As well as the categories listed separately, the award also includes categories for 'Best Commercial & Corporate Production', 'Best Music Video', 'Best Web Production & New Media', 'Community Award', and 'Best Performance'.
