Description

Creative Writing: Poetics is an introductory creative writing course that offers you the opportunity to cultivate your understanding and appreciation of poetry, toget acquainted with some of Australia's best contemporary poets and to learn about the publishing industry. It also offers you the opportunity to hone your poetry writing skills through inspiring workshop exercises, readings and discussions led by expert poets, editors and scholars. This course is ideal for anyone who is interested in language and how words can be used in innovative, precise, intense and musical ways: poets, prose writers, lyricists and poetry scholars. No prior experience is necessary.
