'Marguerite Nolan completed her PhD at the University of Stirling, Scotland in 1998. Her research shows how pyschoanalysis and anthropology have shaped contemporary views of the postcolonial, particularly in relation to constructions of Australian Aboriginality. She has been a Senior Lecturer in Australian Studies at the Brisbane campus of the Australian Catholic University.'
