Description
This course provides an introduction to the study of contemporary Australian theatre. Students will read and discuss the plays of significant Australian playwrights. Knowledge of contemporary Australian Theatre will be extended through engagement in an in-depth study of a significant practical and theoretical issue in the development of Australian drama.
Assessment
There are two assessment tasks and the first assessment comes in two parts:
1(a). Seminar Paper - oral presentation (20%)
1(b). Seminar Paper written (40%)
2. Small group performance / collage presentation (40%)
