Description
This course introduces students to writing relevant to the illustrated book, which may cover a wide audience from children to adults. While the children's illustrated book has been available for many years, the graphic novel for adults is a relatively new genre attracting a wide readership. This course will introduce students to the print text (narrative), which is pertinent to this illustrated genre. It will not teach illustration, but focus on the specific writing style required to make this illustrative genre successful.
