Description
This unit focuses on the history of Aboriginal communities by examining Aboriginal society from pre-colonial to contemporary times. It pays particular attention to the effects of Government policies on Aboriginal communities, and provides students with the opportunity to analyse a variety of approaches to address Indigenous disadvantages today. Through the unit's assessment tasks students will be able to apply academic skills acquired in other units in the TRACKS Tertiary Preparation Program.
