The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) 'has a strong commitment and a long history of reviewing Australian children's books. For many of the nearly seventy years CBCA has been in existence reviews were presented in our print journal Reading Time. Reading Time Online replaces Reading Time in print and includes all your old favourites such as reviews, interviews with established and emerging authors and illustrators and reports from CBCA judges. You will also find booklists, articles on topics of interest to the children's book world, guest blog posts and more here on Reading Time Online.'

Following the publication of two discrete online issues, Reading Time changed its publication schedule to weekly uploads of reviews. These reviews are being progressively added to the AustLit record for Reading Time in monthly issues organised by upload date (i.e., all reviews uploaded during July 2014 are indexed in a Reading Time issue for that month.)
