BiographyHistory

Jackson was born in Cumbria, England, and lives in Fremantle, Western Australia. She is a computer science graduate and poet. She undertook her PhD in Writing at Edith Cowan University.

Since 1991, her work has been published in Australian and overseas journals and anthologies, including the Australian Poetry Journal and the Fremantle Press Anthology of Western Australian Poetry. She has published two books, a chapbook, seven zines, and a CD.

Her public appearances include the Queensland and Tasmanian Poetry Festivals. Since 2008 she has taught and edited creative writing and poetry privately and for many organisations. In 2009 she established Perth Poetry Club, which she coordinated until 2012. She is the founding editor of the online poetry journal Uneven Floor, established in 2013.
