BiographyHistory

Gregory Piko resides in Yass, New South Wales (as at 2014). He has been writing haiku since 2003 and free verse since 2010. Gregory received a 2010 Touchstone Award from The Haiku Foundation (USA) and first prize in the New Zealand Poetry Society’s 2011 Haiku Competition. His free verse was shortlisted for the 2011 Page Seventeen poetry competition, appeared in The Best Australian Poems 2012 and was joint winner of the 2013 WB Yeats Poetry Prize.
