History

The Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Award is held during the Festival held in Harrogate in the United Kingdom. This festival is Europe’s biggest crime writing event. The Festival is an annual four-day event which brings together the very best in crime fiction in a series of events, interviews, and panel sessions. (Sourced from website.)
