This subject offers students an opportunity to focus on a specific and specialised genre/form of writing. The focus of the subject will vary each semester and may include: - Contemporary writing since 1980 and its themes - Genre Crime writing - Narrative and voice - Writing novels and novellas - The Short Story - Writing for children - Writing for the screen - Creative non fiction Students will be advised in advance of each semester which topic will be covered.
