BiographyHistory

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Beyond International, Beyond Productions Pty Ltd is the corporations division responsible for producing information and lifestyle programs for television both in Australia and internationally. Among its best known series to date are Mythbusters, Beyond Tomorrow and What's Good for You. The company averages around 300 hours of programming a year, though shows produced either in-house or a joint ventures with other production houses.

Beyond Productions was formed in 1985 to produce the science and technology magazine program Beyond 2000, a commercial reworking of the ABC Television series Towards 2000. Beyond 2000 was relaunched in 2005 and renamed Beyond Tomorrow.
