BiographyHistory

Western Australian-born Brian Simmonds is an awardwinning artist and illustrator. In his earlier career he worked in printing industries for organisations such as The Sunday Times, New Idea magazine, and advertising agencies. He has exhibited art across the country, including an illustration for the Bologna Children's Books Fair in 2014.

He published several art books with Fremantle Press including Rottnest Island, and The River; as well as illustrated picture books by Dianne Wolfer.
