BiographyHistory

Script-writer.

Based on the Gold Coast, Susan MacGillicuddy has been writing for Australian television since the early 1990s. Between 1993 and 1994, she wrote episodes of medical drama G.P., followed by episodes of the Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF) series Sky Trackers (1994) and teen drama Heartbreak High (1994). Also in 1994, she contributed to the television murder-mystery series Heartland, starring Cate Blanchett and Ernie Dingo, for which she co-wrote (with Ro Hume) three of the thirteen episodes.

Other programs to which MacGillicuddy contributed scripts in the 1990s include Australian-made American production Flipper (1995), medical drama Medivac (1996-1997), and teen drama Raw FM (1997).

MacGillicuddy continued her work for the ACTF with scripts for Crash Zone (1999-2001) and Legacy of the Silver Shadow (2002). She also worked for Jonathan M. Shiff Productions, contributing scripts to Wicked Science (2004-2006) and H2O: Just Add Water (2006-2008), as well as acting as concept developer for Scooter: Secret Agent (2005).
