Notes

  • This author's works appeared in Tegg's Monthly Magazine under the actual Greek letter Sigma. Victor Crittenden has attributed the item 'Fisher's Ghost' which appeared in Tegg's Monthly Magazine (March 1836), which was also written by Sigma, to John Lang. However, a hand-written note on the Mitchell Library copy of Tegg's Monthly Magazine attributes The Slaughter-House, or, Camden in the Olden Time' to a 'Mr. W. Kerr'.
