Terry Djiniyini 'forged new paths for Indigenous Christians in Australia by developing an Aboriginal theology that opened the way for ancestral song and dance to be used in Christian workshop. He retired from ministry in April 2002 and has since been active in cross-cultural and cross-community projects.' Source: Melodies of Mourning; Music and Emotion in Northern Australia (2007)
