BiographyHistory

Richard Kingsland served with the Royal Australian Air Force from 1935 to 1948. After leaving the RAAF he began a new career with the Commonwealth Public Service. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1940, the Order of the British Empire - Commander (Civil) in 1967 and Knight Bachelor in 1978.
