BiographyHistory

George Bayly was a sailor, who first visited Sydney in 1824 on the Almorah on which were being transported to Australia over 100 female convicts from Cork, Ireland. He visited Australia on other occasions.

Bayly is the father of Elisabeth Boyd Bayly (q.v.).
