BiographyHistory

In June 2012, businessman Ryan Stokes was appointed chair of the National Library of Australia Council for a period of three years. Stokes, the son of media owner Kerry Stokes, has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Australian Capital Equity Ltd (ACE) and Executive Director of Seven Group Holdings (SGH). He has served on the board of the Victor Chang Institute and been the director of the Perth International Arts Festival.
