BiographyHistory

Sydney-based writer Greg McLaren grew up in the Cessnock, New South Wales, area in the 1970s. He has worked as a librarian, and been a practicing Buddhist. As well as his poetry, which has been published extensively in Australian literary magazines, he has written numerous literature reviews and conducted interviews with authors for many literary journals. His thesis for a PhD in English from the University of Sydney (2005) was titled 'Translations under the Trees : Australian Poets' Integration of Buddhist Ideas and Images'.
