Poet Paul Knobel, an honours graduate in English literature at the universities of Sydney and Queensland, is the author of An Encyclopaedia of Male Homosexual Poetry and Its Reception History, published on CD-ROM in 2002 and covering works in 243 languages. Knobel published An Encyclopaedia Of Male Homosexual Art, also an electronic resource on CD-ROM, in 2005. He has also published two poetry chapbooks and 14 poetry broadsheets and poemcards. Knobel was an Honorary Associate in the Department of Modern Greek, University of Sydney in 2004 .
