Cain, born to Indian parents in Australia, makes an odyssey to their homeland, navigating through his fears and expectations to find a surprising moment of truth. And his uncle travels through memory to uncover his own intimate feelings untarnished by time. The world swirling round them seems only partly real, with intrusions of poetry and menace.'

'"Still" is in many ways a ghost story without an actual ghost, a travel story without any movement. It is a told tale with two main characters; Black, the narrator and Sophie, his lover. It's about a relationship in trouble, and man struggling with his past and his own identity.'
