BiographyHistory

Ken Stewart retired from the position of Associate Professor at the University of Western Sydney in 2002/3. He was one of the founders of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature (ASAL) in 1978, and for ten years co-editor of Notes and Furphies. He was President of the English Association (Sydney) 2000-2001 and, during this time, was on the Executive Committee of the Sydney Writers Centre. He has widely published in the field of Australian literature.
