BiographyHistory

From publishing the world's first crossword book to Harry Potter, Simon & Schuster has been known for its ecletic fiction and nonfiction lists. The company also became known for its aggressive marketing, innovative approach to books and record-breaking advances; and it was the first to publish paperbacks (Pocket Books).

At the moment the company has seven divisions: Adult Publishing Group, Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, Simon & Schuster Audio, Simon & Schuster Online, Simon & Schuster UK, Simon & Schuster Canada and Simon & Schuster Australia. These embrace the following imprints:
