BiographyHistory

Atlantic Monthly Press was founded in 1917 as the book publishing division of the Atlantic Monthly. In 1925 the book publishing division 'left' Atlantic Monthly and became an imprint of Little Brown and Company (as Atlantic Monthly Press?). In Feb 1993 this imprint became Grove/Atlantic (located at 841 Broadway New York, NY 10003). It is no longer affiliated in any way with the Atlantic Monthly.
