Script-writer.

Kevin Nemeth graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Diploma in Dramatic Arts.

Nemeth began his work as a script-writer on sit-com Acroplis Now in 1992, and followed this with scripts for Newlyweds, The Comedy Company, Col'n Carpenter, Larger Than Life and The Flying Doctors.

He has written for a range of children's television programs, including Pig's Breakfast, Crash Zone, Li'l Horrors, and Scooter: Secret Agent. The majority of his credits, however, are for animated children's television programs, including a number aimed at preschool audiences: the animated programs for which he has written include Skippy: Adventures in Bushtown (1998), Li'l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers (1998), Flipper & Lopaka (1999), Gloria's House (2000), Tracey McBean (2001), Kangaroo Creek Gang (2002-2003), The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill and His Best Friend Corky (2005-2008), Sea Princesses (2008-2009), Classic Tales (2009), and Bananas in Pyjamas (2010-2012).

Nemeth has written stage and radio plays, picture books, and audiovisual shows for the Melbourne Planetarium (Tycho to the Moon and Spinning Out).

He has won several AWGIE awards for his work, including the 1988 AWGIE Award for Radio Original (for science-fiction radio play 'The Chronon Separator'), the 1996 AWGIE Award for Comedy (for We're All Here!), the 1998 AWGIE Award for Comedy Format (for Trouble with Trevor), and the 2005 AWGIE Award for Children's Television: C Classification (for series two of Tracey McBean).

In 1994, he received a Literature Board Fellowship from the Australia Council.
