BiographyHistory

Tom Jellett has lived in Brisbane and Adelaide. He graduated from the University of South Australia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration) and has worked as a freelance illustrator. Jellett moved to Sydney where he worked for The Australian and was a Walkley finalist in 2000 for newspaper illustration. He has also won two Stanley Awards from the Australian Cartoonists' Association.
Jellett has illustrated a group of books within the Aussie Nibbles series plus three picture books written by Sherryl Clark, all of which feature Nicholas Nosh, the world's littlest pirate. He has worked with many leading Australian children's authors. Jellett has lived in Sydney, has worked as an illustrator for The Australian and has been a Walkley finalist a number of times for newspaper illustration.
