BiographyHistory

Maryanne Sam is an actor-singer, playwright and a founding member of Ilbijerri (an Aboriginal and Torees Strait Islander Theatre Cooperative). She has worked as an administrator, production manager, director and project coordinator and has written Through Black Eyes : A Handbook of Family Violence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities (1991).
