BiographyHistory

Ann Granat, a speaker of Hungarian, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) dgeree, a Diploma of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Careers from Monash University. She has worked as a teacher, a freelance journalist and in public relations for the Ministry of Education from which she resigned in 1989. She has received a number of awards including the State of Victoria Short Story Award and the Ralph Boldrewood Award (in both 1985 and 1986). Her work was read on Radio ABC in 1986 and she has read at various writers' conferences.
