BiographyHistory

Christopher Pollnitz grew up in the Adelaide foothills. He was educated at Unley High School and the University of Adelaide. He founded a poetry magazine in 1969 called Barbitos, and has taught English at the University of Newcastle. Pollnitz has written a critical analysis of D.H. Lawrence's poems, D.H. Lawrence and the Pensee (1995).

He contributed to the periodical Aardvark : A Blood Transfusion in Print, of which only one issue was published in the 1970s.
