BiographyHistory

Cornelia Frances arrived in Australia in the 1960s and settled here in the early 1970s. She worked extensively as an actor in theatre, film and on television for her entire adult life, as well becoming host of The Weakest Link. She was popularly remembered as Morag Bellingham, the sister of long-running Home and Away character Alf, but also had long-running parts in The Young Doctors, Sons and Daughters, and Catwalk, as well as roles in Boney, Ryan, Division 4, Matlock Police, Homicide, The Lost Islands, Prisoner, and more.

Frances died of cancer in Sydney in May 2018.
