BiographyHistory

Michael Bauer has a BA DipEd from the University of Queensland (1977) and has been an English and Economics teacher at a number of secondary schools in the Brisbane - Ipswich area. Through teaching English to teenagers he developed a particular interest and enjoyment in young adult literature, publishing his first novel in 2004. He has lived mostly in Ashgrove, Brisbane.
