Sandy Guy's passion for travel writing has taken her around the globe - from canoeing piranha-infested waters in Brazil to taking tea with the Duchess of York in England, hiking isolated areas of Papua New Guinea, clambering across Ireland's ancient castles, and visiting tea estates in the Indian Himalayas - but she loves nothing more than exploring the vast, diverse landscapes of her own backyard.
