This play is 'a confronting and timely examination of the politics of business, the business of politics, and a man whose life is brought to the very brink. Australian, Ken Peterson, finds himself engulfed in political and social upheaval when he arrives to take up the position of manager of a small gold mine in Papua New Guinea on behalf of a multinational company. The departure of his predescessor is shrouded in mystery and the mine is not running as smoothly as reports have been indicating. As tensions mount a European environmmental journalist arrives, determined not to leave without a good story.' Back cover.
