AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'This novel is the story of a teenage girl's journey with her mother through China. While fiction, the story is set during the real-life turbulent months of student pro-democracy demonstrations across China which culminated in what became known as the Tiananmen Square massacre of June 1989.'
