AbstractHistoryArchive Description
A short experimental film, The Phallic Forest concerns a young couple who attempt to break out of their terrace-flat trap: he has a self-conscious affair and she retreats into a fantasy as the world around her becomes more unbearable. Her fantasies about the man next door become explicitly and obsessively sexual, but in a darkly humorous way.
