AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Collection of essays which explore the inter-relation between Australia's landscape and language. The authors use literary and non-fiction texts to examine how language has been used to characterise Australian landscape, and how texts and stories have influenced environmental perception and action, as well as people's perception of particular places.
