According to performing arts consultant John Thomson, 'The Lawsons' has not been produced since its twelve performances in country New South Wales in 1950.

World premiere produced by J. C. Williamson's at the Masonic Hall, Bathurst on 8 January 1950. Following the Bathurst production, the play toured for two performances each to Wellington, Dubbo, Parkes and Forbes during February 1950. Season directed by Vivian Edwards.
