Jeremy Fisher, Executive Director of the Australian Society of Authors, declares the Society's opposition to the imposition of further restrictions on the free speech of Australian authors. Fisher says that writers are 'clearly capable of exercising judgement on material that is seditious or could be considered harmful to Australia's sovereignty.'
