(p. 137-161)This article begins with an analysis of 'Australia's various categorisations of the Anglo-Indian community under the country's 'evolving' immigration policies'. It goes on to critique 'the ways in which Anglo-Indians have been used to promote official Australian multiculturalism' and it concludes with an examination of 'the connection between discourses of Australian multiculturalism and the variegated nature of Anglo-Indian stereotypes in recent literature'.
