extempore is a biannual (six-monthly, in November and May) journal of jazz-related writing and artworks including reviews, short stories, poetry, features, interviews, prints and photography. Content is about, inspired by or responding to jazz and improvised music.

  • Launched at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, 31 October 2008.
