AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Up and Down Australia Again is the third published collection of short works by Arthur Upfield. Kees de Hoog has selected 34 more short stories and has added a radio play and the first five chapters for an unfinished Bony novel. As well as tales from the Australian Outback, there are stories based on Upfield's experiences at Gallipoli during the Great War, and what really did happen during the early years of European settlement and expansion in Australia. Includes sources for the short stories in the first collection, Up and Down Australia.
