AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Rowston argues that the identification of Lucy Edgar with Theresa Tasmania can be seen as definitive. The two authors are linked by an editorial note in the Tasmanian Messenger November 1865 and the poems published in Tasmanian publications of the period support this identification through their religious themes, reflecting the Baptist faith of Lucy Edgar.
