History
The creative fellowships were funded by Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland with the money matched by State Government. Recipients were awarded $40,000.

The Fellowships worth $40,000.00 are a joint initiative between Arts Queensland, Griffith University, the Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland. The Fellowships will allow recipients to concentrate on their projects for up to 12 months.
